NASA astronaut Scott Kelly has now spent more time in space than any American before him. He'll be breaking more records soon.

U.S. astronaut Scott Kelly is all about breaking records in space.

On October 16th, he became the American with the longest cumulative haul of space days—383 in total.

But Kelly isn't stopping there.

He's primed to break the American record for most consecutive days in space on October 29th.

On that day he'll have spent 216 days in space—in a row.

All this record-breaking is part of Kelly's "one-year mission"—which is actually 342 days long.
