Disgraced Guatemala ex-president Perez blames US

Moises Galindo, a lawyer for former Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina, spoke Thursday with journalists after handing over a letter for Ecuador President Rafael Correa, who is also temporary president of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) at the Embassy of Ecuador in Guatemala City. Perez, in preventive detention and under investigation for corruption, said before the CELAC that he is a victim of human rights violations.
