Drunk tourist smashes bottle on barman's head in Thailand brawl

PATTAYA, THAILAND-- A pair of drunken British tourists caused a bar room brawl, and one of them smashed a bottle over the bar manager's head in the Thai resort city of Pattaya, according to a Facebook post from eyewitness Bryan Flowers.
The Mirror reports that the two men had been causing trouble in the tourist area of Soi 6 before ending their night at Roxy Bar. The pair harassed staff and customers and repeatedly rang the bell to buy everyone at the bar drinks. Sam Bates, the bar manager, asked them to pay their tab and leave. This set them off, and a brawl ensued. Security camera footage caught the incident in video, as did a bystander who managed to record the fight and its aftermath.
Flowers wrote in his Facebook post that the two aggressors were arrested and spent the night in jail. They paid their fines and were released without any charges. One of the men who started the fight was identified on Facebook as Shaun Robson, who claims he had to pay a fine that cost him over $1,500, according to a post on his Facebook page.
