Security footage of a black bear raiding a high school in China, shortly before it was sadly shot dead by police.

The video, which was captured on CCTV cameras inside the school in Heilongjiang Province on Monday, shows the animal wandering into the campus in the morning before breaking into the building and turning restless in a corridor.

When police and the Fire Brigade Police arrived, they transferred all the students and staff to safety, and then decided to kill the bear after they failed to tranquillise it, according to local media.
