We Cast the Death Note Movie!

Nat Wolff has been hired as the main character in the live action Death Note movie but there are plenty of parts that still need to be cast and we’ve got some ideas about who they should consider!
Anna and Dave look at some of the bigger and more important characters in the Death Note anime and manga, focusing mostly on the first volume, and try to come up with who they could cast in the live action Hollywood adaptation.
Some of the characters we cast: L, Misa Amane, Ryuk, Rem, Naomi Misora, Raye Penber, Soichiro Yagami, Watari, Near, Mello, Touta Matsuda, and Teru Mikami.
What do you think of our choices? Who do you think should be cast in the roles? Do you think they’ll keep most of the character names the same? Do you think they should make an effort to cast more Asian actors for the live action Death Note movie?
