French bulldog fights off three bears that are five times bigger than itself

MONROVIA, CALIFORNIA-- A tiny French bulldog chased away three bears from its yard at a house in Monrovia, California on Friday afternoon.
According to KCAL-TV, the dog named Jules weighs about 20 pounds, and was caught on surveillance camera acting really tough and scaring away the trio of bears. Two of the bears in the front yard are estimated to be one year old, and a third bear was sitting on the balcony.
Homeowner David Hernandez told KCAL-TV in an interview: "She wasn't having it, you're not coming in to her property."
"She blew me away, couldn't believe that she turned into a Wolverine," Hernandez added.
Hernandez also said that the bears are foraging for food after a fire destroyed some of their habitat, and his neighbor are leaving food out for them, which is against California law.
"It is a crime, you can do jail time if you're caught doing it. Some of my neighbors give them dog food in 25-pound bags," Hernandez said, "there's one lady in the neighborhood who actually makes them meatloaf."
According to the Mirror, Hernandez installed the surveillance cameras after his house was damaged by a bear. He also boarded up one of his daughter's windows to prevent bears from opening it, KCAL-TV reported.
