Former members of Mexico’s Party of the Democratic Revolution along with other activists have launched a new left-leaning movement called “For Mexico Today.” The founders say it is not a political party and that they will not run candidates for office. Headed by former presidential candidate and PRD founder Cuauhtemoc Cardenas, the movement is reportedly a new space for political participation.
