Honduras: Anti-Corruption Protests Erupt in Violence

Demonstrations clashed with police in Tegucigalpa, Honduras during a protest in which participants blocked traffic. The demonstration, called by the National Resistance Front, was organized to demand the formation of an international committee to investigate corruption allegations against top government officials, including President Juan Orlando Hernandez. A series of future protests, organized together with the opposition Libre party, are also being planned. Gerardo Torres reports from Tegucigalpa. teleSUR
