Video Shows Dramatic Orangutan Rescue In Borneo

A team from International Animal Rescue posted an online video of a dramatic orangutan rescue in Borneo.
The Bornean rainforest is currently burning out of control.
Much of the wildlife is at risk from the still-spreading inferno; but at least one mother orangutan and her infant are safe.
In a video posted to Facebook, a team from International Animal Rescue darts the mother while she sits in a tree near a smoke-filled section of forest. Workers then shake the tree until she falls into a well-handled net.
The orangutans were close to being burned alive.
