Watching the Supermoon Eclipse in Short Clips

A rare combination of astronomical conditions provided a dramatic spectacle across much of Europe and North America on the night of September 27. A lunar eclipse coincided with the closest full moon of the year to create an effect referred to as a ‘super blood moon’. This video, which is a compilation of 36 short clips taken during the eclipse, shows the progression through a series of close-up views.
