Interviews from Caracas – ALBA and Regional Integration

This evening our host Reagan des Vignes interviews Luciano Vasapollo, Vice Chancellor of Italy’s Sapienza Universit, and Deputy Director of International and Latin American Relations. The topic is the regional integration in Latin America fostered by Commander Hugo Chavez 15 years ago, and marked by the founding of ALBA, the Bolivarian Alliance of the Peoples, in 2004. Professor Vasapollo comments on his new book, The Dawn (ALBA) of a Humanitarian Future and gives a description of the dramatic changes that have taken place in the social and political landscape of Latin America. teleSUR
