US: Arkansas Governor Asks for Credit Sales to Cuba
  • 9 years ago
Arkansas Republican Governor Asa Hutchinson called on the U.S. Congress to allow agricultural exports to Cuba on credit. Such a measure would chip away at Washington's economic sanctions on Cuba. He said extending credit would be the next logical step in normalizing relations. Hutchinson is in Havana heading an Arkansas trade mission and is the first U.S. governor to visit the island following the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. teleSUR
