Canada's rich deposits of oil sands prompted a massive industrial boom just a few years ago when prices were high. But now with the oil price languishing at much lower levels, Canadian oil is struggling to compete. The human impact is clear: companies downsizing, people being laid off, and real estate bubbles bursting. With federal elections on the cards this October, the economic crises hitting parts of Canada are a political hot topic. Frédéric Guiro reports from Alberta.
