Humpback Whale and Calf Rest at the Bottom of the Ocean
  • 9 years ago
François Chauvin spent several months following the winter migration of humpback whales, from the Atlantic Ocean to the waters of the Caribbean, to the Turks and Caicos islands. This is where he came across this female humpback whale and her very young calf. The mother whale was resting close to the bottom during a long fasting period, while the new born was beginning to adjust to its new environment. Credit: YouTube/URZALA prod.
