Air India Plans World's Longest Non-Stop Commercial Flight

Only months after Emirates revealed plans to claim the crown of operating the world's longest non-stop flight, Air India announced its own plans for an even longer jaunt across the globe.

Brinkmanship flies the friendly skies these days.

Air India recently announced plans to outdo Dubai's Emirates in the world of non-stop international air travel by running a flight from San Francisco to an as yet unnamed Indian city. 

Emirates' currently-planned, would-be-record-breaker is set to fly from Dubai to Panama City and clock in at 17 hours and 35 minutes.
