Florida Officers Shave Heads To Support Fellow Deputy Battling Cancer

Members of the sheriff’s office in St. Lucie County, Florida, recently raised more than $12,000 during a fundraising event where they had their heads shaven--some for money--to support their fellow deputy who is fighting cancer.

Members of the sheriff’s office in St. Lucie County, Florida recently shaved their heads during an event to support one of their own who has cancer. Corey Todd, a deputy who has been with the office for 17 years is battling chronic myeloid leukemia and dealing with hair loss due to various treatments.
