Mexico: Ayotzinapa Parents Observe 43-Hour Fast

The struggle for justice for the Ayotzinapa students continues in Mexico. President Enrique Peña Nieto met today with the parents of the 43 students who were forcibly disappeared a year ago. Family members have set up a protest camp in the Zocalo outside the National Palace, and on Wednesday night began a 43-hour fast. They will march from the presidential mansion to the Zócalo on Saturday to demand justice and credible answers. The fast comes after officials announced that they may have identified a possible match for a second victim in the abduction, although forensic experts have cast doubt on this claim. teleSUR
