The 2016 Honda Civic was revealed before the world audience in Los Angeles last week. Now a video of the car has been released which shows the car driving as well as some footage from the release. The new Civic would be made available in the American market with two different engines – a 2.0-liter iVTEC four-cylinder engine and a 1.5-liter Turbo VTEC four-cylinder engine. The engines would be mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
The new Civic would also be the first Civic to come with optional LED headlights for the high end versions whereas LED taillights would be offered as a standard fitment all variants. On the inside, the car has been fitted with a seven-inch touchscreen Infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features of the car include a lane assist system, an electronic parking brake and an E-CON driving mode.
