Palestine: Fuel Shortage Prompts Survival Solutions

In Gaza a fuel shortage has led residents to use alternatives to run their vehicles. The destruction of tunnels along the border with Egypt since June of 2013 along with repeated closures of Israeli border crossings have triggered extreme fuel shortages. Fed up with waiting four or five hours for diesel fuel in a situation where no one takes responsibility for their countless hours without work, taxi drivers have resorted to using cooking oil to run their taxis despite the resulting pollution and dangers brought about by this alternative. Noor Harazeen reports from Gaza for teleSUR.
