In a major late night train accident ed from Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, five people, including Karnataka Congress MLA Venkatesh Naik, are feared dead. The accident took place when a truck collided with the Bengaluru-Nanded Express after which four coaches of the train derailed. Police said that the brake of the truck had failed forcing it to crash into the gate of the level crossing.
