Separatist leader Asiya Andrabi arrested

Separatist leader Asiya Andrabi was arrested from her residence in Soura in Jammu and Kashmir this morning. Asiya has been taken into custody in connection with couple of cases registered against her for waving Pakistani flags and addressing a conference in Pakistan via phone. on August 14, she had hoisted Pakistani flags at her residence and also addressed Lashkar-e-Taiba activists in Lahore via mobile phone on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence day. An FIR was registered against her under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act at Soura police station in Srinagar. She had earlier been booked for hoisting Pakistani flags on March 23, but was not arrested
