Venezuela: Maduro Extends State of Exception to 10 More Municipalities

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro extended the State of Exception to 10 more municipalities along the Colombian border. The measure is designed to protect the country from cross-border smuggling, drug trafficking and paramilitary activity. The border closures were extended in the state of Zulia and introduced in Apure.
