There have been quite a few songs written up in the past for a movie. Some songs have gone on to become more popular than the movies themselves! We did a bit of digging and found our favorite tracks that were recorded for movies.

All you need to do is give us the first few words to this song, and we?ll erupt into full-blown dance session. Rotten to the Core is an easy contender for Summer Anthem 2015.

Tegan and Sara featuring The Lonely Island - Everything is Awesome (The LEGO Movie)

Is there a song out there that could put you in a better mood? Nothing about this song screamed bad mood. We couldn?t find a happier song out there than Everything is Awesome!

Let It Go - Idina Menzel (Frozen)

Like it or hate it, Let It Go helped Frozen shatter records and soar to the highest grossing movie of all time. And it?s by quite a stretch. Will Frozen 2 be able to create a song that?s just as catchy?

You?ve Got a Friend in Me - Randy Newman (Toy Story)

We?ve gone total throwback with this one. But can you blame us? This was the song that started an era. Who knew that not just the Toy Story franchise, but the entire Pixar legacy would begin with this song? It easily has it?s place in music history.
