Mexico Presents UN With Report on its Human Rights Record

The Mexican government presented its report to the UN on measures it is taking to stem human rights violations. But human rights advocates and activists charge that practices such as enforced disappearances, the use of torture to obtain confessions, and impunity for those responsible are commonplace.
