'Shame on you Orbán' protest hits Budapest

Thousands have taken to the streets of the Hungarian capital to demonstrate against the Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

The crowd marched across Budapest city centre along the river Danube to the Parliament building.

The protest, organised by civil rights groups and opposition parties, reject Orbán’s hard line stance against asylum seekers.

“My conscience did not let me stay at home doing nothing. This is my contribution, the minimum I can can do to finally stop this maltreatment of asylum seekers,” said one young woman.
