Dodge Stratus AC A/C System recharging How to recharge the Air conditioner on a Dodge Stratus!
We took this video to show you how to recharge the A/C System on a Dodge Stratus or Chrysler Sebring Second Generation. It should cover the years from 2001-2006.
You will need r134a refrigerant. If you had a slow leak and you do not see a spot that leaked oil you should be ok if you do not add oil. In this case you will need to add refrigerant only.
When you open the ooh on your vehicle there should be a sticker that says how much it is required to fill the system up. DO NOT OVERFILL it because you might damage the system and even the compressor will not kick in because there is too much pressure in the system.
