Uthaya: Once I picketed with LGE, now I picket against him

Like every Penangites, CJ Chan Lilian wishes to see a peaceful, amicable, quick and if possible, happy ending to the Kampung Buah Pala 'story'.
Deadlock, after deadlock, almost all the reporters are getting tired with the never ending dramas and daily trips between the village and Komtar.
One side is the villagers and the political parties and the other, the state government.
Today, she finally met, P. Uthayakumar whom she had admired for his sacrifices when he was detained under the ISA.
She asked him if there is ever a chance of a peace talk with CM Lim Guan Eng to solve the Kampung Buah Pala issue once and for all.
Uthayakumar told a crowd of over 300 people who were at Kampung Buah Pala that he used to picket alongside CM Lim. However, now, he is picketing against him.
