Darwin Letter Revealing His Religious Beliefs Up For Auction

Bonhams has announced plans to auction off a letter written by famed naturalist Charles Darwin where he states his agnostic beliefs at the time; it is expected to sell for $70,000 to $90,000.
Charles Darwin is known as a renowned naturalist and proponent of evolution.
Now, his religious beliefs are coming to the forefront with the auctioning of a letter which addresses his view on the topic.
On November 23, 1880, a young lawyer wrote to Darwin, asking the scientist if he believed in the New Testament.
