Customer throws boiling soup over pregnant waitress in China restaurant

A shocking video has emerged from China of a customer throwing boiling soup over a pregnant waitress in a restaurant.
The CCTV footage, captured in late July in Heilongjiang Province, shows the pair arguing before the customer can be seen grabbing at boiling pots of soup - throwing liquid straight into her face.
According to local reports the waitress Dong Xiaomeng first got into an altercation with the customer after she bizarrely tried to go through drink cartons removing the straws from them.
The waitress was six months pregnant at the time of the incident but thankfully escaped with only minor burns. The two are reported to have settled a legal case over the incident this month.
