Video has emerged from Slovenia of pro-refugee protesters taking to the streets of Ljubljana.

The demonstrators reportedly wanted to show solidarity with refugees fleeing Syrian war zones.

The EU is still struggling to respond to the crisis, with nation states divided on how to rehouse the hundreds of thousands of people fleeing their homes in the Middle East.
