His 123 against Karachi whites is now the official highest score in Pakistan now. Mukhtar exhibited some solid blows all around the park.
Mukhtar is representing the Sialkot region in the Cool and Cool T20 cup and today up against the Karachi whites he became a record holder. Mukhtar came as an opener and batted almost till the end and in this time at the crease his bat was just blazing boundaries.
At the start Sialkot won the toss and decided to bat to a full batting track at the Rawalpindi Stadium. Mukhtar opened u the proceedings with Nauman Anwar. Right from the start Mukhtar was aerial and hitting the ropes.
He faced 67 deliveries for his 123 with 18 fours and 3 sixes being hit overall. His innings was an illustration of the word power hitting. In the past we have seen him hitting the ball hard and today he didn’t make an exemption.
Of the 18 boundaries he hit, most of them were aerial one area where he has to work on apart from his limited feet movement. Mukhtar follows the term stand and deliver but that doesn’t work outside the subcontinent and even here there are some tracks which are tricky enough to tangle.
