Sure, Stephen Curry might be the greatest in-game three-point shooter of all time. But the best ever in a gym by himself? That distinction may belong to Fred Newman, a former computer programmer and former assistant coach for Caltech. In 1996, when he was 60 years old, Newman made a world record 209 consecutive triples, albeit from the college three-point line of yore.
