I picked up a pen when my crazy heart would not accept it, my darling
In my letter I wrote your name and the state of my heart

Consider this piece of paper as my heart
Where a drop of madness has fallen, consider it my heart
Drowned in memories, I kissed this piece of paper
I wrote my salutations of love to you

I told my heart many times, it is not good to pine like this
To go mad like this in someone's love is not good
My heart said it was helpless and a letter was necessary

That love would have such an effect, I had no idea
That the heart would throb even after suppressing it
