Rosalina & Luma launch into battle! We unbox and review the Rosalina amiibo figure!

We unbox a new Nintendo amiibo figurine: Rosalina and Luma! We introduce Rosalina to her other amiibo friends, Mario, Princess Peach (from Super Mario Bros.), Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Luigi, Captain Falcon (from F-Zero), Samus (from Metroid), Kirby, Link, and Zelda! She plays by pretending that several of the amiibo are married, and Rosalina is getting married too! Guess who the lucky amiibo figure is?
The Rosalina amiibo figure is from “wave 3” of Nintendo’s amiibo line of toys, and Rosalina was a Target retail exclusive in the United States. She is accompanied by small star named Luma, who is used in several of Rosalina's special attacks.
Amiibo figures are much like Skylanders or Disney Infinity figures in that they are used with different Nintendo video games to unlock new features in the game. Amiibo figures represent characters from many different Nintendo franchises, including Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Wii Fit, Kid Icarus, Super Mario Galaxy, Pikmin, Xenoblade, Game and Watch, Wario Ware, Earthbound and Punch-Out! Can you believe that there are no Waluigi or Ridley amiibo figures? Which is your favorite amiibo?
Current and future games in which you can use amiibo figures are Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy +, Code Name: STEAM, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Yoshi’s Wooly World, Mario Party 10 and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Wii U and 3DS. Just don’t forget that the official plural of amiibo is not “amiibos” but either "amiibo figures" or just "amiibo!"
Rosalina is a fictional video game character owned by Nintendo and created by Shigeru Miyamoto. She's a mystical space princess who meets Mario in the Mario Galaxy series on the Nintendo Wii, and along with Mario's brother, Luigi and his friends Yoshi, Toad, Toadette, and Princess Peach, they use items like a mushroom, fire flower and tanooki suit to protect the Mushroom Kingdom from the evil King Koopa, Bowser, and his minions including goombas, Bowser Jr. and the rest of Bowser’s koopalings!
Rosalina is most famous for her appearances in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, but she also appears in several other successful Nintendo games such as Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Golf World Tour, Super Smash Bros. on 3DS and Wii U, Mario Kart 7 on Nintendo DS, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, and Mario Party 10. You can find video games starring Mario characters in modern and retro video games on the NES (Famicom), SNES (Super Famicom), N64, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS, 3DS, Game & Watch, Atari 2600, Colecovision and arcade!
