Footage has emerged of traffic chaos in France caused by farmers blocking a major motorway with convoys of slow tractors, in a protest drive to Paris.

The video shows huge columns of tractors on their way to protest in the capital on Thursday - leaving traffic backed up along the A1 road.

This is the latest in a series of protests by French farmers over low meat and milk pricing.
