Colombia Rebels Cite Progress in Peace Talks

The negotiating team of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in Havana, Cuba hailed the progress thus far achieved in the peace talks underway aimed at ending the country's five-decade civil war. The rebels proposed a pact with the government to investigate enforced disappearances, which official figures put at 50,000.
