Coal transforms into a high-efficiency, environment-friendly fuel
Korea Institute of Energy Research has developed the world's first high-efficiency, environment-friendly hybrid coal manufacturing technology. The coal was created by removing moisture from low-calorie, low quality coal and then inserting biomass such as sugar cane into it. The new coal is said to have higher energy efficiency and can reduce carbon dioxide by more than 30%. We will find out about the hybrid coal manufacturing technology set to be commercialized domestically and exported to countries like Indonesia and Mongolia.
