Ex-wanita Umno's Kamilia: Picking her battles

Former Wanita Umno deputy chief Kamilia Ibrahim says her battle is to strengthen both the position of women and Islam in Malaysia. She says she's been championing women's rights for the past 30 years since joining Umno and had sought to solve the financial problems of Muslim women being divorced or abandoned by their husbands. She hopes to continue strengthening the institution of the family in Malaysia and protecting the status of Islam as Malaysia's official religion.
