The Hindraf brothers: Uthaya jailed the day Waytha becomes senator

More than five years after he was first charged under the sedition act, Hindu Rights Action Force de facto leader P Uthayakumar has now been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison. As Uthayakumar was in court this morning, his estranged brother P, Waythamoorthy was being sworn in as a senator in parliament, taking on the position of a deputy minister in the prime minister's department.
