Residents and tourists in Bangkok flocked to the reopened Erawan Shrine to pray for the quick arrest of the perpetrators behind Monday’s bomb blast that killed at least 20 people. Two blasts rocked Thailand’s capital Bangkok on Monday and Tuesday. The first occurred at Erawan Shrine, a popular tourist destination, and the second happened at a busy pier. The shrine closed after the blast and reopened on Wednesday. People visited the shrine throughout the day and into the night to pray for the deceased.
