A dramatic video has emerged from China of firefighters rescuing a girl after she trapped her head in a gap between railings.

In the footage, filmed during the rescue in Anhui Province on Tuesday, firemen can be seen widening the gap with a hydraulic machine to pull her body out.

The girl did not suffer any serious injuries, according to local media.
