MP: 'Old cars unsafe' claim has no factual basis

In November last year, Deputy Transport Minister Abdul Aziz Kaprawi reportedly said that the government is mulling a life span cap of 12 years for vehicles in order "to protect lives".
However DAP's Kampar MP Ko Chung Sen says there's no scientific basis to that as most vehicles involved in accidents are those below 10 years old.
