Maruti Suzuki YRA named 'Baleno', launch soon

Since it made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the Suzuki YRA made quite a few heads roll with its sharp looks and styling. Now the same car, but slightly different, will be showcased at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show under a new name – Baleno. To confirm this, Suzuki has releases a teaser of the production ready Baleno online, which shows the side profile as well as certain parts of the front and rear end of the car.
The new Baleno will be powered by a completely new 1-liter BOOSTERJET turbocharged petrol engine. The engine is said to be both powerful as well as economic. Indians have to wait a little more for the Baleno to come here, before that the Baleno will be launched in UK in 2016. If it at all makes it here then it will have face tough competition from the likes of Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20.
