Footage has emerged of the moment a motorcyclist was confronted over refusing to switch off his engine while static during a few minutes of silence for a cyclist who died in Bank, London, UK.

The video was shot on Wednesday morning during a protest at the junction where the 26-year-old woman died in a crash with a lorry on Monday. Cyclists can be heard talking to him for minutes before he eventually turns of his engine after being accused of being disrespectful.

The filmer wrote online: "During the space for cycling protest in Bank, with everyone falling silent to pay respect to two cyclists who have died in the last week a motorcyclist refused to turn of his engine.

"I started filming maybe 4 minutes into his refusal, it took four or five people to eventually get him to switch it off, there was, out of frame, a police officer on a push bike behind him, who also chose to do nothing.

"The spot where the woman was killed in the week was only a few yards away from the motorcyclist and despite people laying flowers almost in front of him he continued to say no!"
