To a question about former NSTP group editor Abdul Kadir Jasin’s blog post that Dr Mahathri Mohamed is ‘curious’ about 1Malaysia Development Berhad’s (1MDB) acquisition of independent power producers (IPPs), the former prime minister said he raised the question because the public had the right to know.
He said that he was not speculating on any ulterior motive behind the deals but the acquisition involved public money.
