Colombia: Gov't to Halt Airstrikes Against Rebels

Colombian President Juan Manual Santos announced an immediately halt to all airstrikes on Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia positions. He said the move was part of a government plan to deescalate the conflict and that any decision to resume hostilities would have to come directly from the presidency.
