The song – composed, written and sung by her – has been recorded in Paris and was produced by Nouvelle Vague mastermind Marc Collin. Like hardly any other artist, Magmoiselle knows how to play with opposites. She picks up clichés but never uses them: stylistic influences of 1960s soul and jazz music could not be more up-to-date.
