Colombia: Religious Communities Call for Bilateral Ceasefire

In Colombia, members of different churches and beliefs have come together to support the ongoing peace process between the FARC and the government. A concern for the victims of the conflict and a strong desire for peace have united people of different faiths, including Christians and Muslims, in insisting on the adoption of a bilateral ceasefire. The meeting is a response to an invitation extended by the FARC to the churches to act as verifiers of its recently announced unilateral ceasefire. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota for teleSUR.
