The Opening Night of Friday Jam was dedicated to the Nepal Earthquake relief efforts and the leading bands of Delhi like Parikrama, Mrigya and Advaita came together to perform with musicians from Nepal like Bipul and Adrian (former 1974 AD member).

Friday Jam started last year as a platform for corporate executives who are part of a band, to perform live at CyberHub and take a break from their cubicles. This year, we have expanded it to invite youth bands as well and we are letting all of them compete against each other, so that the best band may win at the end.

Each week 3 bands – can be a mix of corporate/youth will perform at the Cyberhub amphitheatre and in Week 10 and 11 we will have semi-finals with 4 bands each. The final 4 will compete against each other in Week 12 to win the title.

The bands performing can be across genres. The performance happens at Cyber Hub every Friday at 6:30 pm. To participate, bands can send their demos to Fridayjam@hindustantimes.com
