HT Explains: Can we expect ground-breaking results from PM Modi's China visit?

Hindustan Times Foreign Editor Pramit Pal Chaudhuri explains the significance of Modi's visit to China in an existing environment of trust deficit between the two countries. He adds that the easy deliverables from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s maiden China visit are going to be the economy ties. While the border talks are something that both Modi and Xi are both interested in, it's going to be a long haul and will take at least five to ten years. Other issues such as the river system, climate change, UN Security Council membership for India will come together when the bigger issues of economy and the border start to move forward.
